A fine quality miniature English silver four piece tea set comprising teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug and tray. Possibly made for a very high end doll's house or as a novelty amusement to entertain friends on social evenings. Superb quality, the teapot cover is hinged and all three vessels are gilded inside. The tray is silver framed with a small disc of oak that clicks into place. All pieces fully hallmarked for 1905, makers Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd, the tray assayed in Birmingham and the others in Chester.

The teapot measures 2.9cm (1 1/8") high, 4.5cm (1 3/4") spout to handle and 2.3cm (7/8") wide. The sugar and creamer are both 2cm (3/4") high and the tray is 7cm (2 3/4") wide.

In excellent condition with no damage, repair, dings or other issues and minimal handling wear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
