An authentic & magnificent Art Deco compact made in 1932 by S. Blanckensee & Son Ltd. The lid & base have the most beautiful guilloche engraving. These images do not capture the beauty of this excellent vanity. The lid lifts to reveal a large mirror which gives an accurate reflection.

The mirror has a lots subtle age marks. The compact is fully hallmarked 'S.B & S.LD' into a chamfered rectangle. The hallmarks are unworn & easy to read. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. Measures 4" & weighs 149.6 grams.

This very large compact is an ideal cherished display collectible.
