An unusual and highly decorative Regency brass fender distinguished by its elegant proportions and the survival of its original accompanying fire irons, an increasingly rare feature. The fender is of rectangular form, enriched with finely worked decorative bands and raised on classic paw feet, giving it both presence and refinement.

The matching fire irons remain mounted on their original standards, forming a complete and visually balanced fireside ensemble. The quality of the brasswork, combined with the restrained ornament typical of the Regency period, makes this a particularly attractive and desirable example.
