1902 Solid Silver Crocodile Skin Effect Card Case
A really different fine quality antique hallmarked silver card case with stunning embosssed crocodile skin effect.
Hallmarked on both sections for Birmingham 1902. Manufactured by renowned silversmith William Henry Sparrow.
In excellent original condition, hinge is perfect, lid closes as new. No apparent dings or damage.
Typically silver card cases from this era have either machine-turned or scroll type decoration. This crisp crocodile skin effect decoration is quite a rare and unusual example.
This lovely antique silver card case is both beautiful and practical and would make a wonderful gift or addition to a collection.
