A beautiful heart shape antique French Ormolu antique jewellery or trinket casket which features a circular hand painted miniature. The painting which looks to be a boy dressed for a special occasion is signed Paulinz. It is set under a glass frame and surrounded by fantastic rose garlands. The lid opens to reveal a brown velvet lined inner with rope detail on the outer bottom edge. The box is decorated and embossed all round and has a gadrooned lip with front lifting part. Overall this is a stunning piece which is in excellent condition.
