Stunning Art Deco Silver Sugar Caster GS&SS Co.
Stunning silver Art Deco sugar caster by The Goldsmith & Silversmith Co. Fabulous skyscraper shape with straight sided cylindrical body with inverted steps to the bottom set above a stepped pedestal foot. The lid has bold steps with attractive pierced detail to the steps and risers of each level. Hallmarked for London 1936.
It measures 14.5cm (5 3/4") high and 6.5cm (2 1/2") wide. It weighs 204g/6.5ozt. Condition is excellent with no damage or dents and just light surface wear from age and use. Apologies for the reflections in some of the photos. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
