This is a decorative pair of antique Japanese antimony dragon photo frames dating from circa 1900.

Exquisitely cast in relief with dragons coiled around a Shinto shrine.

Wooden easel type supports.

Glass fronts are intact.

Size: 24 cm x 18.5 cm (9 1/2" x 7 1/4")
Take 6" x 4" photos (15 cm x 10 cm)

Weight: 962 & 1034 gm.

Condition: Excellent condition. There are some fine scratches, & some of the pins holding the metal to the wooden back are missing but more than enough have survived / been replaced for them to be secure. The easel supports work fine. All they need are a pair of treasured photographs to be inserted & they are ready to display.
