Unmarked Silver Gilt Medieval Coin Spoons, Cased
D.J.MASSEY & SON
This is a set of Twelve Unmarked Silver Gilt Coin Tea Spoons, each with a twisted wire handle, and bowl made from Medieval Hammered Coins, (which I am presuming are copies).
The single spoon in the photos has a bowl made from a Bohemian Prague Double Tailed Lion Hammered Coin from the reign of Wencelas II (1278-1305AD).
The coin spoons come in a faux fur lined case, with the retailers name inside “J.S.Kaufmann, Frankfurt a.M.”
Total length..............4 inches.
Total weight...........84.1 grams.
