Sweet and unusual Victorian cayenne pepper bottle with silver spoon and holder by Levi & Salaman. Octagonal glass bottle fits inside an embossed silver holder with handle decorated with flowers and foliage and a small cherub mask. The spoon has a stepped octagonal finial, what appears to be the original cork and gilded bowl. Matching hallmarks for Birmingham 1897.

The whole measures 2 3/8" high and 1 5/8" wide including handle. The spoon measures 2 1/8" long and total silver weighs 12g. Condition is very good with no damage to any piece and very light surface wear for age and use. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
