A lovely pair of Victorian napkin rings complete in their original presentation case.

The silver napkin rings are beautifully engraved with a Fern decoration with a vacant cartouche to the front. Both are hallmarked for the silversmith, Henry Bourne one is hallmarked for Sheffield 1892 and the other for Sheffield 1896 this is not a mistake being different dates at the silversmith's there would have been a finished box of napkin rings in each design and they would be picked and packed into the presentation box not necessarily the same date. They are a true Victorian pair.

The box is lined in navy blue velvet and silk the silk lid is printed in gold with the retailer "Monk Bros. Jewellers, Bolton".

Excellent condition. Each napkin ring measures 1 1/4" with a diameter measuring 1 3/4". They have a combined weight of 2.06 Troy Ounces / 64.2 Grams.
