Mappin & Webb Silver Tea Spoons And Sugar Tongs
For sale this fine set of six Old English pattern George V period Solid Silver Mappin & Webb tea spoons with matching sugar tongs in their original box.
This is an utterly beautiful complete set of tea spoons and tongs from the renowned silversmiths Mappin & Webb, all the spoons and the sugar tongs have an 'L' monogram engraved onto them.

Date mark: 1915
Assay office: Sheffield
Approximate Dimensions:
Length of spoons: 10 cm
Weight of each spoon: 12 grams (combined weight of spoons approx 72 grams)
Length of sugar tongs: 10cm
Weight of sugar tongs: 16 grams
Combined weight of all silver is 88 grams.
Condition report:
Unfortunately, the box does not close and has a deep scratch on one side, which is shown on the photos. The interior of the box is in good condition overall. The spoons and sugar nips are in excellent order with only very light age related wear, please see photos.
These antique George V solid Silver spoons would make a superb Christmas present or Birthday gift or a beautiful asset for your own silver collection.
