Late Victorian Silver Double Spout Cream Jug
Late Victorian
Silver Double Spout Cream Jug
London 1898
Maker: Samuel Walton Smith, Cambridge Street, Birmingham and Great Pulteney Street, London W1.
Approximate dimensions: height 8cm, weight 98.5 grams.
There are surface marks associated with normal use and age especially around the hallmark.
The jug is not quite round at the top. I suspect this was caused by it being dropped sometime in its long history as there is a "crease" near the bottom of both spouts. One is more visible than the other. There is a number, 1/868, scratched lightly on the base.
A very unusual double spouted and double handled cream jug which is very attractive.
Free P&P in UK.
All our items include postage and packaging in the UK.
Buyers outside the UK need to email us for postage costs before buying. Overseas buyers need to check that the item they intend buying can be imported into their country and will be responsible for paying any customs and/or tax charges.
