A fine Chinese silver filigree card case with the stylised depiction of flowering plants on each side rising from leaf rosettes. Scallop shapes edges to both sides and a hinged cover revealing an attractive shaped inner flange. A curved silver shield shaped cartouche to one side is unengraved. Unmarked, c.1880.

It measures 8.8cm (3 7/8") high, 6.3cm (2 1/2") wide and 1cm (3/8") deep.

In excellent condition, no damage to any of the wires and no repairs. The hinge is good and the cover closes flush. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
