Antique Japanese cased saki flasks
A fine quality pair of antique Japanese saki flasks in hand painted porcelain (? ) decorated with branches of trees and birds with Imari style decoration to top and stopper. Each stopper has differing characters to stoppers. These are presented in an immaculate dark red lacquered casket inlaid with abalone shell birds and flowers to the sides and top. There is a paper sheet with characters to top of lid. This is thought to be of the Meiji period and is in immaculate condition for its age.
