Antique 19th Century Castle Top Silver Card Case
A VERY FINE QUALITY EARLY VICTORIAN AMERICAN SILVER VISITING CARD CASE, with a view of Trinity Church, New York within foliate scroll surround. Made by Leonard & Wilson of Philadelphia. Made circa 1850.
The back of the case is beautifully decorated with flora and foliage Scroll design with a signed cartouche in the centre. Measures 90mm x 65mm. Shaped sides and edges.
Overall in very good condition with no damage to the main body of the case. There is a small ding to the top right corner. Strong hinge, snaps shut just as it should. Stunning silverwork.
