Very pretty mid 19th century silver tussie mussie posy holder. Very finely cast with leaves and berries amongst scrolls and arabesques, the handle is additionally formed from twisted leaves and finishes with melon fluted detail to the curved end. It is unmarked but has been tested.It has screw in pin for hold the posy but no longer has the chain and finger ring.

It measures 4 1/2" long and 1 1/4" wide. The holder is just over an inch each way. It weighs 12g/0.4ozt. Condition is very good with no damage and very light surface wear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
