Victorian Silver & Ruby Glass Scent Bottle 1899
An elegant ruby glass cylinder form scent bottle, with a hinged solid silver hallmarked top and collar, glass stopper and a silver snake with ruby eyes is coiled around the centre of the bottle.
The top has a button piece mounted with a small ruby stone which springs open the hinged cover.
The lid is Hallmarked for Birmingham 1899, The side has the maker's mark Sydney and Co.
It measures 3" tall OR 7.6cm tall.
There a couple of small chips to the base, not noticeable once standing.
Overall very good condition with no damage to the silverwork.
