Victorian Cased Set Of 6 Silver Napkin Rings
A lovely set of late Victorian English silver napkin rings in their original tooled red leather box fitted with red velvet and cream satin. Embossed and engraved pretty swirling foliate type design, each with an unengraved shaped circular cartouche. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1899, maker William Vale & Sons.
They each measure 4.8cm (1 7/8") wide and 2cm (3 /4") deep. The case measures 16cm (6 3/8") long, 6cm (2 3/8") wide and 6.3cm (2 1/2") high. Total silver weight 86g / 2.8ozt. Total weight in case 182g.
They are in excellent condition and the case is also very good the inside is excellent and very minor wear to the outside bar a small strip of leather on the underside that had torn and been re-stuck. The clasp is fine. They would make a super gift being unengraved. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
