Victorian 19C brass copper bucket coal log basket
Antique brass & copper decorative bucket which could be used for coal, small logs or a number of other purposes.
Dates from the 19th Century, Victorian or possibly the Regency period.
A really lovely period bucket and a rare find (we have never seen one like this before).

This item would have been very expensive when first made.
Wild opulent styling that shouts 'Versace', although of course he wasn't around then.
Full of charm and character.
Overall maximum dimensions
390mm diameter x 355mmH (with handle folded down).
Internal dimensions of the bucket, 350mm diameter at the top, 250mm diameter at the bottom and 300mm deep.
The bucket is fantastically old with historic knocks, marks, some decoration loss, wear to finish, damage and repairs. There is some damage around the bottom rim and the bucket is probably not totally watertight.
