Maker's/Sponsor's mark on every piece for Josiah Williams & Co, St Augustine's Parade, Bristol.
Hallmarked London 1896 except for tongs which is London 1892
There are surface marks associated with normal use but the silver pieces are in very good condition.
Approximate dimensions: sugar: diameter 82mm, height 54mm: cream jug height 46mm plus 15mm of the handle, spoon length 105mm, tongs length 90mm, total silver weight 237g, boxed weight 679g.
The box shows signs of its age with a lot of surface marks and some damage at the back, please see photos.
The elastic holding the spoons in position has lost its elasticity and no longer does its job. One elastic piece is missing. However the rest of the interior is in good condition and has done its job in keeping the silver in very good condition.
The interior carries the retailer's name of Robert Jones & Sons, Goldsmiths and Silversmiths, Liverpool.
