Thomas Bradbury Sterling Silver Desk Stand
This lovely antique desk stand is fully hallmarked for London 1910, and is stamped with the maker's mark for Thomas Bradbury. It has a pen groove at either side, two handles, and is supported on four legs. It retains two cut-glass silver-mounted inkwells with hinged lids. Please note that although the silver mounts of the inkwells are stamped for the same maker as the stand, they have different date letters. One is dated 1899 and the other 1908. The inkwells appear matching, both to each other and to the stand. The desk stand weighs approx. 330g (10.7ozt).
Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age. There is some surface scratching and wear, and some tarnishing and corrosion. There is also some polish residue. The inkwells have some knocking and wear as might be expected and the silver lids are a little misshapen. The stand has a slight wobble.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
22.5cm wide, 13cm deep (stand). Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
We can arrange delivery of both smaller items and furniture - please contact us for details and a quote. Customers are also welcome to use their own couriers if preferred.
Payment can be made by PayPal, bank transfer, cheque [UK only], and cash on collection.
