Silver Sauce Boat E Haywood 1940 150g
Arthur Vandyk Antiques are proud to present for sale this exquisite quality George VI period solid silver Georgian style hallmarked silver sauce boat. The feet have a charming shell like form at the top and has a feather edge rim both touches alluding to nature harking back to the 18th century.

Condition
Age related wear and evidence of heavy use showing a lot of light scratches, perhaps from overzealous cleaning, a slight nip to the spout and some tiny indents and a group of scratches and dinks on the the base exterior. Otherwise in very good order for its 80 year age in sound condition with no major faults or no major signs of wear.
An elegant, impressive and usable piece of solid silver tableware that will look gorgeous on the dinner table and a nice piece to show your friends at dinner when lock down eases. Alternatively, this would make a lovely present or a great asset to your silver collection.
