Condition report:

This pretty trinket box is in remarkably good condition for its over 124 year age, there a few dinke to the base that I have tried to capture in the photos. However, the gilt interior is in superb condition and the exterior is in very good order. , there are no dents other than to the base or heavy scratches however the makers sponsor marks is poorly stamped but still legible. The hinge is in full working order and the box opens and closes swiftly and smoothly. There is a number lightly scraped to the bottom of the interior. A certain amount of wear is expected of an item of this age.

This stunning cute and dainty silver box would make a beautiful Birthday present, Christmas present or treat for yourself - an elegant addition to one's antique and silverware collection. This silver box harks back to the stylistic principles of the Art Nouveau period, a piece of stylistic history as well as being a well made, ornate piece of silver.
