Silver Claret Jug
A early 20th c Arts and Craft silver mounted claret jug, of plain glass tapered form with bulbous base. Star cut to underside. Silver knopped lid. This quality Claret jug is stamped 800, inscribed mellisa Malta. Probably made in Germany circa 1920. Silver and glass both in excellent condition.
A lovely piece which would enhance any table.
Size, 28 by 14cm Dunkeld Antiques has been in business since 1986, operating out of premises in the village of Dunkeld in Perthshire, which had a stock of good antiques , out of print books and decorative items. Latterly we have moved online and now have a range of smaller items, currently a wide range of domestic and usable antique copper and related metalware.
