A quality pair of solid silver mustard spoons assayed in London in 1858. They were made by the top quality silversmiths Chawner & Company having the mark GA for George William Adams.
George William Adams is a renowned and well-known silversmith, specialising in items of flatware. Both he and the prior Chawner company were known for producing high quality flatware.
They are inscribed with the letter L on the handles.
They measure 4.25 inches or 11 centimeters long with a weight of 33 grams.
Very good condition as can be seen in the photographs.
