Pair of beautifully and skillfully executed antique Chinese pith paintings of ducks among water lilies & reeds in lake shore settings.

The paintings are framed by ribbons, narrow cream mounts and narrow gilt and painted frames. The paintings date from the 19th Century but the frames are later - dating from the 1930s to 60s.

Dimensions: Image 20.5 x 13.5 cm Frame (external) 31 x 23 cm

Condition: Mallard-type ducks: Small split in the pith paper to the right of one of the lily flowers otherwise in excellent condition.

White ducks: Small split in the pith paper in top left corner otherwise in excellent condition.
