A pair of classic antique Victorian cow horn shaped brass fire dogs or fire iron rests by a design attributed to Christopher Dresser circa 1880s. Very much in the Aesthetic Movement taste, these stylish andirons feature a beehive globe with turned stem beneath a cow horn shaped top all standing on tubular tripod legs. In good condition, stamped with numbers underneath this design was usually made by Benham & Froud circa 1880s. Price is for the pair.
