Ornate Pair Victorian Silver Grape Scissors
Lovely fine pair of silver grape scissors with beautifully cast and engraved handles and hinge with twisted, gnarly vine stems, vine leaves and bunches of grapes. The blades are plain with a bevelled top. Hallmarked underneath and inside the blades for London 1898, makers William Hutton & Sons.
They measure 7" (18cm) long, 2 1/2" (6.5cm) wide and weigh 149g/4.8ozt. Condition is excellent with no damage or repairs. The hinge is fine and the blades close perfectly. Minimal surface wear they have clearly been very little used. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
