This ingenious set of folding cutlery comprises a silver plated spoon and fork and a steel bladed knife. The fork also has a small corkscrew. The handles are of bone. There is a small crack in the handle of the spoon where the bone has been cut to accommodate the fold. When folded the flatware fits snugly into its own leather sheath. This in turn slots into a small flattened glass tumbler. All elements are then fitted into a quality rigid leather case, which fastens securely. It was made c1900. There are some marks to the leather case but overall it is in good condition. There are no makers marks but it could be 'Lockwood'. The case measures approximately 8cm x 10cm x 2.5cm.
