Meji Period Japanese Bronze Sculpture
This superb Meji period Japanese sculpture depicts an elephant being attacked by 2 tigers with glass eyes. The sculpture rests in its original, elaborately carved root wood stand. It measures 19 in - 48.3 cm wide, 12 in - 35 cm deep and 20 in - 55.2 cm in height.
