Charming and unusually large George III egg shape silver nutmeg grater. Threaded lid opens to reveal pull out steel grater. Fully hallmarked inside to the lid for London 1817, maker Samuel Meriton and with a lion passant mark inside the base.

It measures 4.8cm (1 7/8") long by 3cm (1 1/7") wide and weighs 22 grams (14.5g / 0.5ozt without the grater). Condition is excellent with just light surface wear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
