Large Edwardian Silver Pedestal Sauceboat
A stylish Edwardian silver sauceboat, of good size and pedestal form stood up on a stepped oval collet foot. Pretty card cut rim and a very nice double scrolled reeded handle with cast acanthus leaf detail. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1902, maker Isadore Leapman.
It measures 14.2cm (5 3/4") high to the handle, 19cm (7 1/2") long and 9cm (3 1/2") wide. It weighs 205g / 6.6ozt and has a 1/2 pint (280ml) capacity.
In excellent condition with no damage, dents or repairs. Minor handling wear, no marks or scratches, some wear to the hallmarks. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
