A good quality re-cast 20th century version of Bonheur,after the original work by Pierre Jules Mene,of this large scale sculptured bronze of a Jockey riding his horse in slow gallop.

There is a nice colour patination and good overall detail is shown in this piece.

Firmly mounted on a very substantial base plinth due to huge weight of the piece,

The base bears an inscription ''Pierre Jules Meme

CONDITION
There are some tiny patches of green oxidation which require a brush off with a fine steel toothbrush and then a careful waxing to preserve.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt if the item is found to have been misdescribed and the purchaser may be liable for the return costs subject to reasons for return.
