George V Period Silver Kiddush Cup Joseph Zweig
Arthur Vandyk Antiques are delighted to offer for sale this fine quality medium to large size early 20th century George V period hallmarked sterling silver Kiddush Cup. Ideal for Shabbat and other Jewish festivals, for use in the home. This cup would be an ideal wedding, birthday, anniversary, bar/bat mitzvah or wedding gift.
This fine quality silver cup is hand engraved with a large vacant shield cartouche with two large palm leaves on either side. The cup is of traditional form with nice crisp hallmarks to the base, a lovely collectable example indeed.
A perfect addition to any fine silver or Judaica collection.

Weight: 42 grams
Height: 11 cm
Diameter of base: 4 cm
Condition report:
In overall very good condition for its age, with a crisp set of hallmarks and decoration indicating minimal use. The base is slightly misshapen, there are some age related scratches and marks plus some deeper scratches as well as a small dent to the rim, which are evident in the photos.
This is a rare and collectable larger kiddush cup that will look beautiful on display and will look impressive when in use too.
