Victorian French Tortoiseshell Silver Piquework Coin Purse.Inlaid Silver Shield within Oval Silver Cartouche.Opens with four Blue Moire Silk sections, the central one has Clip to close.(N.B. The clip does not stay shut as there is small loss).Impressed Mark 'Brevet SGDG'.It hangs from Silver Chain with large Ring.Tortoiseshell is still bright and in excellent condition.Dimensions:-9.2cms x 6.5cmsx1.7cms.100gramms gross.. I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
