Edwardian Silver Urn Shaped Pepperettes
Arthur Vandyk Antiques are delighted to offer for sale this delightful pair of Edwardian period urn shaped pepperettes with Rococo asymmetrical repousse decoration, that sit on square pedestal bases and have a domed lid with round finials.

The details are as follows:
Silversmith: Makers mark is poorly stamped but appears to be J.G for Joseph Gloster.
Date mark: 1903
Assay office: Birmingham

Condition Report
Pepper pot 1:
In good condition for its age, age related tarnish marks and scratches plus some heavier tarnish and scratches, the hallmarks are poorly marked and the lid is a little loose.
Pepper pot 2:
In generally reasonable condition, however their is a split to a seam on the neck and a dent just below plus another tiny dent on the other side of the neck, age related tarnish and surface scratches.
