Edwardian Silver Mustard Pot Sheffield
Pretty silver mustard pot of round bellied shape set on 3 finely cast lion head and paw feet. Gadrooned style shaped rim, double scroll handle and the hinged cover has a central dome and a scallop shell thumb rest. Fitted with what appears to be the original blue glass liner. Hallmarked to the base for Sheffield 1903, maker J & J Maxfield Ltd and partial marks to the cover.
It measures 7.8cm (3 ") high, 8.5cm (3 3/8") handle to rim and 6.4cm (2 1/2") wide. It weighs in total 204g, silver weight 131g / 4.2ozt. Condition is very good with no damage, dents or repairs. Light surface wear, a couple of small light marks and little more wear on the cover around the handle terminal. Inside the silver has more sign of wear but this clearly cannot be seen with the liner in place. Ready for use. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
Price includes UK shipping. Worldwide shipping is also available, please ask for a cost.
We wish to ensure all our customers are happy with their purchases and offer a full no quibble return policy for all items returned within 14 days. We ask that returns are notified within 7 days where possible. Return postage is the buyer's responsibility in terms of cost and safeguarding the item through transit.
