Masonic Interest: A silver Edwardian novelty pin-cushion in the form of a roller-skate with articulated wheels. Hallmarked for Crisford & Norris, Birmingham 1909 and with registered design number Rd 535766 - 6.5cm long.

As well as being a rare collectable in its own right, this example has the added interest of a contemporary Masonic engraving to the toe: "STRAND LODGE 1987 - 1910". Strand Lodge was constituted in 1883 under charter from The United Grand Lodge of England and continues to this day.

The cushion has been replaced and there is a split to the top of the boot.

I trade in small silver, jewellery and objets d'art. I sell primarily at antiques fairs and in cabinets in Christique Antique Centre in Dorking. I try to find unusual and interesting stock and like to keep turning it over, so I can buy more. Postage and packing are free within the UK - unless explicitly stated otherwise.
