Lovely George II half pint tapering silver mug with straight sides and a tucked under belly. Scroll handle with thumb rest and sitting on a stepped pedestal foot. Hallmarked for London 1729 by Edward Pocock. The initials IB are also engraved to the base.

It measures 3 3/4" high, 4 1/4" wide rim to handle and 2 3/4" across the base. It weighs 188g/6.7oz/6.1ozt. Condition is very good with no damage or dents but there has been a previous, neat repair at the join of the handle to the body. There are 2 small surface marks to the right of the handle but otherwise surface wear is light, and good and clean inside. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
