Fine and tall, early twentieth century, silver, table-centrepiece epergne. There are hallmarks on each of the three detachable bowls for Birmingham 1915. The hallmarks on the base are rubbed, but the maker is just distinguishable as (probably) Joseph Gloster Ltd. Overall, the epergne is 23cm tall, large cup 7.5 cm dia, smaller cups 5cm dia and 10cm long The central base is filled and retains the original leather pad (see photo). I will happily rebaize in green felt free-of-charge, if required, or provide a piece of felt with the epergne. All 4 containers are watertight. There is minor bruising across the surfaces, consistent with age and use, but not visible. There is one visible distortion at the bottom of the main stem (see photo), not usually apparent when the smaller attachments are in.
