This attractive set of six fiddle-back spoons are made from continental (0.800 grade) silver. They are hallmarked with the pre-1880 silver hallmark for Neuchatal in Switzerland. They have a maker's mark, JJ, that we have not been able to identify. The spoons are contained within their original fitted leather case with tooled lid. The sppons weighs approx. 268g (8.5ozt).

Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some surface scratching, wear and minor denting. The box has some scuffing and wear, and is split along the hinge at the back. There is some slight splitting to the corners. The fitted interior of the box is grubby and a little faded.
