Art Nouveau Silver & Green Trailed Glass Decanter
Attractive art nouveau quatrefoil lobed glass decanter with green trailed glass decoration between the lobes. Mounted with a sterling silver collar and finished with a twisted flame form stopper. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1903, maker John Grinsell & Sons.
It measures 34.5cm (13 1/2") high and 12.5cm (5") wide. It has a capacity of 900ml / 1.5 pints. Condition is very good no damage bar some fritting around the bottom of the stopper. A few pin pricks to the silver. The glass has some permanent cloud marks inside which cannot be seen when filled with any liquid but is visible when empty in some lights. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
