A very elegant photograph frame with an organic Art Nouveau shape outlined by a raised border.

The silver hallmark can be found on the left hand integral "foot" struck for Birmingham 1910 together with the makers initials for the well renowned silversmith, James Deakin and Sons.

The silver is backed by an ebonised wooden back incorporating a folding easel stand.

The frame remains in very good condition with minor wear commensurate with age. 8" x 5 1/4" with a glazed aperture measuring 5" x 3 1/4".
