This is an antique tilt top fire screen. An English, mahogany and needlepoint fireside occasional table, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Unusual, dual purpose fire screen and table with attractive presentation
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order

Quality needlepoint tapestry with delightful foliate patterns
Tilting top rotates through 90 degrees, with locking clasp to reverse
