A handsome and most unusual photograph frame made from polished brass with cooper coloured highlights, all having been professionally polished at our silversmith's.

The original wooden backing has a folding easel back which in theory should be able to un-clip and then moved to the other bar attached to the back to create a portrait configuration.

Of course what makes this a special and highly desirable example is the Scottish themed Thistles. Victorian in era and dating to c.1890. Complete with photograph.

Excellent condition with an overall 8 1/2" x 7" x 1 1/4" deep with a glazed aperture measuring 5 1/4" x 3 3/4".
