This is an antique Black Forest fireside bin. A German, beech and copper coal or log store, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

Wonderfully decorative storage bin or jardiniere, with an appealing finish
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Beech staves show fine grain interest and rich caramel hues
Copper presents warm amber hues with a naturally aged patination

Articulated handle stands prominently above a distinctive, tapering ribbed form
