19thC Pair Gilt Bronze Sweetmeat Dishes
We are selling this highly decorative pair of bronze and gilt bronze sweetmeat dishes dating to the Regency period. Little bronze cherubs have raised arms with a large shell above. The gilt bronze bases have small shells and turtles around with the feet in the form of sea shells.
They measure 10 inches in height with a base width of 4 inches. They are in lovely condition, one of the shells has been repaired at some time in the past but this does not detract from their beauty.
We are happy to supply shipping quotes upon request.
At Imperial Antiques we pride ourselves on our quality stock at competitive prices. We have a large selection of daily changing stock sourced from the length and breadth of the Country. “Buy With Confidence”. As members of LAPADA all our stock is guaranteed.
The golden chandelier symbol displayed in a window or at a fair is the sign of membership of LAPADA, the Association of Art & Antiques Dealers. Since its inception in 1974, LAPADA’s membership has grown to over 600 members making it the largest association of professional art and antiques dealers in the United Kingdom.
