This is a very nice quality English Sterling Silver Wax Seal Holder fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1900. This was used to hold sealing wax while the wax was being melted on to any important documents. After the wax was melted on to the document it was then impressed with a personal seal. This would grace any collection or would make a perfect gift. You can still buy the wax for this holder today...

Item Condition Good all round condition, very slight undulation one to side where the wax is inserted - see image.
