A pair of silver tea tongs by William Cripps of London c1760, with embellished finger rings with flying scrolls."S" scroll arms a double hinge plate "C" scroll shafts and angular trilobe grips.
William Cripps entered three marks, this being his third in 1751.
The hinge is engraved with a possible marriage betrothal of " N over I E "
Condition overall is very good, 12.5 cm length and weighs 1.5 tr.oz
