William IV Hallmarked solid Silver Salver

Beautiful quality Solid Sterling silver Salver of circular form, the surfaces embossed with foliage and scrolls, including a foliage and scroll piecrust border and raised on three shell and scroll tripod feet. Good gauge

The makers Edward Edward Jr John & William Barnard origin is possibly the oldest manufacturing silversmith in the world, originally established by Anthony Nelme c. 1680.  Connection with the Barnard family can be traced from 1773.  Operated as Edward Barnard & Sons 1829-1910
Hallmarked:
Lion head for London.
The Lion Passant for solid silver
All are date letter "U" for 1835
Makers mark EEJBW for Edward, Edward Jr, John and William Barnard

Date 1835  William IV Antiques Material Silver Origin English Maker Barnard | Silversmiths Condition Condition is excellent with no no damage or inscriptions. Please note this has been recently had the surface re-finished by a Sheffield silversmith and so has a very new looking finish this may appeal to some buyers, and not to others, I mention to be accurate.
